Products available at the shop are curated by WELCOME Co., Ltd.

The company was originally founded as GEORGE'S Furniture Co., Ltd. in 2000 and operated several chain stores specializing in lifestyle products, interior goods and furniture, including “CIBONE” and “GEORGE'S”. Many of the stores were located next to a café and provided insight in the food service industry which led for the company to expand its operations in this field in 2003 as it introduced DEAN & DELUCA, a purveyor of artisanal groceries originally established in New York City, to Japan. In 2007, the company opened the "SOUVENIR FROM TOKYO" museum store at The National Art Center in Roppongi and also began offering consultation services for public facilities and private organizations in need of conceptual, spatial and design directions. As the team grew in number and in experience, it launched “Today’s Special” in 2012, designed with a focus on food and daily life, to offer a destination where customers can discover products to enhance their lives in various ways. In 2015, the company celebrated the merger of WELCOME Co., Ltd. and DEAN & DELUCA JAPAN Co., Ltd. to form the WELCOME GROUP to continue offering its wide spectrum of services under a shared vision.
